Mao Asada won NHK cup and step to Grand prix final.

The figure skater, Mao Asada, about whom I wrote in the last blog entry
won the competition and was entitled to entering Grand Prix Final.
She tried a new thing nobody has done before: doing a triple axel jump twice
in a performance. The result of the challenge was... She did it!!
But... the judges thought the spin of the jump was not enough to recognize as triple axel. So technically she didn't succeed. But it doesn't matter.
She thought she did it. This is her 6th win of the GP. This is a record of a Japanese figure skater and she is still 18 years old.

In the Grand Prix Final, she has to compete with her rival, Kim Yona, again.
Mao Asada lost to Kim Yona in the 2006 and 2007 Grand Prix Final.
This time the Grand Prix Final takes place in Korea. So it will be so hard for Mao Asada to win the competition.
But we Japanese hope she wins.

Mao Asada, a figure skater, who is going to be enter NHK cup
declared to challenge the jump combination nobody has done ever.

She entered France cup earlier. But She couldn't perform as
she expected. And She was in the 2nd place in that competition.
Ever since then, She has been concentrating on her jump practice.

And she also has to be higher than in the 2nd place in this competition.
to go to Grand prix Final in the end of the year.

I don't know much about figure skate.
But this Japanese girl is awesome.

Prime Minister VS Anime Director

Reporters asked Hayao Miyazaki, who is well known as the director
of GHIBLI anime, about the incumbent Japanese prime minister,
Taro Aso who loves mangas, and he answered "He should be
ashamed , It's not something he should profess".
And It's caused chaos on the web.

"Is it a criticizm of Otaku!?"
"Why the hell does the director of anime say that?"
"Well, I guess It's not what the top of the country should profess"

J-CAST asked the people concerned with this issue again.
They said "Mr. Miyazaki didn't say that people who liked mangas
were embarrassing. He said he had felt Prime Minister Taro Aso
was using manga to gain young supporters and it has

been going too far."

Well, a Prime Minister has a right to say whatever he wants
just like citizens. Everyone knows he likes mangas. It's not
like he started to like magas to gain supporters. So What's wrong?
Nothing huh?

Banana Diet...?

Banana Diet. It seems like a fad today in Japan.
I heard bananas were sold out at grocery stores after this
diet was broadcasted on TV.... sounds very stupid to me though.

According to the TV show. Bananas have lots of enzymes that
dissolve fat. Also in the morning, the stomach is still
digesting what you ate last night. Therefore eating only bananas
doesn't task the stomach.

I will introduce how to follow this diet for people who are interested.

1. Eat bananas every morning as breakfast until you become full.
you can eat as many as you want.

2. Eat the bananas slowly. Bite them thoroughly. Don't devour.

3. Drink lukewarm water with them.(you can drink other kinds
of drink in 15 to 30mins after you are done with breakfast.)

4. If you get hungry after dinner, eat fruits. (But only one kind of
fruit is preferable.)

5. Exercise is not necessary. But of course It's better to do it.

6. Eat dinner till 8pm, then go to bed till 12am.

And it also says, it takes time for the diet to pay off.
Don't expect to lose 5kg a month or anything like that.
such. It's easy to gain weight but it's damn hard to lose weight!
Be patient and let's wait and see.

Obama in Japan

Barack Obama recently won the election and will become the next
American President.
And did you know that the citizens of a certain city in Japan are
really happy about that? The name of the city is "Obama"

It's a small city. Fishing is the main industry in this city.
I have been there several times and can attest that Seafood is great there.

They have been so excited since Barack Obama ran for President.
They even made a group called"Cheer on Barack Obama without asking"

Surprisingly, Barack Obama knew about the group in Obama.
And he said "When I go to Japan, I will be pleased to visit the city"

I guess the citizens will freak out, When he visits there.
Why not? lol

L'arc en Ciel "Flower"

This is one of my favorite songs.
I happened to find this song on youtube.
I was a teenager when I heard this at first.
They really look young on this video!!!
It means I got old too.... anyway!
It's an awesome song, enjoy it!

I envy him... Because he killed people more than I did... Part 2

Interviewer:
You were planing to raid the school with your sister at first.
Do you have a bad memory back in school?

Kanagawa:
No, I don't

Interviewer:
I think you've already known the murder case in Akihabara.
The Akihabara murderer, Tomohiro Kato, used knives because
he watched your case on TV. What do you think about it?

Kanagawa:
I'm glad to hear that. But on the other hand, I sort of envy him.
Because he killed people more than I did. His punishment will
be heavier.

Interviewer:
You mean, You envy him because there is more possibility for
him to get a death penalty?

Kanagawa:
Exactly.

Interviewer:
He committed the crime. Because he was stressed over the
relationship with his company.

Kanagawa:
I think he was wrong. He was attributing everything bad which
was happening to him to other people and killed people.

Interviewer:
Umm I don't get the difference between your motive and his.

Kanagawa:
I just want to be releaved from this world.

Interviewer:
In magazine, you said you wanted to go to a fantasy world.
What did you exactly mean?

Kanagawa:
I want to die. Then I want to go to the fantasy world.
I want to use offensive magic.

Interviewer:
Do you want to hurt people with that?

Kanagawa:
No, I want to beat evil people who are controlling the world
and save people.

Interviewer:
It sounds irony for me. You hurt the people in real life didn't you?

Kanagawa:
I just wanted to be gone.
